“We are getting used to Christmas-themed phishing attempts, but another dangerous situation may be a seemingly attractive gift concealing a dark secret. The Federal Network Agency in Germany keeps reminding us that to protect privacy, products capable to record images or sound in an unnoticed way and transmitting them wirelessly to other devices (such as a smartphone) are prohibited in Germany.”
